Founder & President

Stephen R. Scanlon

After thirty distinguished years in law enforcement, Stephen R. Scanlon retired from the Worcester County Sheriff's Office in August of 2022. At the time of his retirement, Mr. Scanlon held the rank of Assistant Deputy Superintendent of Investigations.

Mr. Scanlon began his law enforcement career with the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department. While assigned to the Boston Police Department, he worked closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the Massachusetts State Police, and several other law enforcement agencies.

Mr. Scanlon has received numerous awards and citations for his dedication to the citizens of Massachusetts, including the "George L. Hanna Recognition Award."

He has provided critical testimony at the Probate Court, Superior Court, Federal Court, and Grand Jury levels in many high-profile cases.

In 2022, Mr. Scanlon founded Scanlon Investigations Group (SIG) — a licensed and bonded private investigations agency providing litigation support to the legal community and private citizens in Child Custody/Family Law, Civil, and Criminal proceedings.
